Marble This is actually a metamorphosed limestone, however marble and limestone are physically very different. Marble is a limestone, which has been recrystallized where as limestone is stone which never recrystallized so the process of recrystallization makes limestone and marble two distinct stones. Marble has many color variances due to the impurities present at formation. Some of the different colors of marble are Green (serpentine), White, Black Gold, Pink, Rainforest Green & Rainforest Brown, Oyster Beige, Onyx & Blue Fantasy etc.
